Job Title: Accounts Receivable SpecialistJob SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding invoices. This role requires strong knowledge of medical terminology and coding, as well as experience in revenue cycle management and public accounting.Duties• Process and post payments to customer accounts accurately and efficiently.• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and initiate collection efforts.• Communicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices, payment arrangements, and discrepancies.• Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate coding of invoices using ICD-10 standards.• Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions, adjustments, and communications related to accounts receivable.• Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts receivable performance.• Support the Accounts Payable team when necessary to ensure smooth financial operations.• Stay updated on medical collection practices and changes in revenue cycle management.Requirements• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role in corporate accounting or public accounting environments.• Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding practices, specifically ICD-10.• Familiarity with revenue cycle management processes is highly desirable.• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.About Aston Carter:Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
