Senior Accountant

Join The Farmer’s Dog as a Senior Accountant responsible for various financial reporting functions while contributing to the company's mission of changing the landscape of pet health.

Research technical accounting issues and prepare position papers

Responsibilities

Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements
Compile monthly fluctuation analysis reporting to management
Monitor emerging accounting guidance and relevant comment letters
Lead support for the audit of financial statements
Help build out the Company’s financial policies and procedures
Identify gaps in current workflows, develop and implement internal processes
Partner with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders
Perform ad-hoc projects and financial analyses

Education

Minimum 3-5 years of public accounting experience
CPA preferred
