Job Title: Data ClerkJob DescriptionThis role involves working onsite in a large, tech-filled conference room with AI Engineers. The primary responsibilities include participating in conferencing sessions, taking notes, and providing feedback to assist engineers in troubleshooting audio tools. The role is clerical, akin to a scribe or copywriter, involving sitting in meetings, conversing with coworkers, and recording sessions for future AI usage.Responsibilities• Participate in large group listening/speaking exercises while engineers test products.• Review and execute test scripts, documenting all findings.• Collaborate with engineers to assist in documenting their test cases and providing feedback on results.• Assist in evaluating products according to specifications.• Join virtual conference rooms and follow provided directions.• Participate in recording scripted videos for training AI models.Essential Skills• Solid verbal and written communication skills in English.• Ability to carry on a conversation with or without scripted dialogue.• Punctual and consistent attendance.• Professional demeanor.• Customer service experience.• Clerical and administrative skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications• Knowledge of POLY/Plantronics or any conferencing systems is a huge plus.• Experience with Microsoft Office, Zoom, MS Teams, Webex, and Skype.• Willingness to work no less than 28 and no more than 40 hours per week.Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a large corporate office in North Austin. The schedule includes mandatory workdays from Monday to Wednesday and Friday, 10am-5pm, with Thursdays being optional but highly encouraged. Most weeks will require 40 hours, though some may range from 28-35 hours. The work environment includes a well-equipped break room with games, video games, and a cafeteria. Breakfast and drinks are often provided.
