Job Description Overview:
Contract review: analyze legal risks and issues and communicate the same to internal stakeholders. Provide litigation support and legal operations support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and review contracts including non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, sales representative agreements, logistics agreements, sales agreements and marketing agreements for entities in the Americas.
- Collect, review and analyze documents for litigation discovery purposes or in response to subpoenas.
- Coordinate and assist with board meetings and other corporate governance matters.
- Assess risks and provide sound legal advice considering the business context.
- Educate policies and procedures to employees.
- Maintain organized system of physical and digital records.
Required Qualification:
- JD or foreign equivalent; admission to a US state bar
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity
Work Experience
- 0-2 years of relevant legal experience
Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in written Chinese
Preferred Qualifications:
- In-house legal department experience preferred

- Office Only: Typically works in an office environment.

$85,000 - $95,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
