Job Description:Lead User Experience Designer and ResearcherIntroduction:AT&T is looking for a talented, highly motivated UX Interaction Designer and Researcher to work with our dynamic team on mobile applications. This talented professional will research and design engaging mobile applications as well as help set the direction for AT&T user experiences.Your usability and interaction design skills will play a key role in developing seamless and compelling experiences across multiple projects. You will also have opportunities to lead user research and advanced UX improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Work with product teams to understand user needs and functional requirements.Create innovative interaction designs through explorations, information architectures, wireframes, user flows, and behavior specifications.Conduct user research including usability testing, user interviews, qualitative research, and quantitative research.Collaborate with other designers to translate wireframes and other UX specifications into finished visual designs.Lead presentations and reviews of interaction designs with team members and stakeholders. Drive to reach consensus and approval.Engage with development to understand platform capabilities, communicate designs, support agile development, and verify design implementations.Develop user research plans, conduct design thinking, collect data, moderate testing sessions, and present research findings.Champion and communicate design best practices and guidelines to stakeholders throughout the organization.Effectively communicate designs across teams using engaging presentations, collaboration tools, prototypes, and narrative vision.Ensure design engagements are executed on time and at a high standard.Required Work Experience:5+ years’ experience in the field of UX design and research with aprimary focus on- Information architecture- Interaction design- User-centered design- User research, or similarSkills and Experience:Must provide a portfolio that demonstrates superior design skills along with your process and thinking.Excellent understanding of the design process, agile development, and design thinking.Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, design systems, and usability research methods.Advanced knowledge of UX design and research tools with an emphasis on Figma.Inter-personal skills that demonstrate the ability to work and collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams. Ability to respond positively to feedback and critique of UX design and research deliverables and incorporate feedback into design enhancements.Ability to juggle multiple projects and thinking across different products.Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.Experience in design thinking and rapid prototyping.Education Requirement:Bachelor’s degree or higher in a field such as Human Computer Interaction, UX Interaction Design, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors Engineering, or similar.Master’s or PhD in such fields are preferred.Our Lead UX Interaction Designer and Researcher, earn between $128,400 - $192,600.
