Product Designer

Auria is looking for a Product Designer with 10+ years of experience in El Segundo, CA or remote. Auria is providing direct Space Operations support to the Space Systems Command with highly qualified, top performing professional services in platform and system engineering to help revolutionize the way the United States Space Force (USSF) builds, deploys, and operates software to overcome the challenges of the next space conflict.

On this team, you will support the United States Space Force design and develop applications to modernize Spade Domain Awareness and Space C2 Warfighter capabilities. These applications enhance the capabilities for the Combined Space Operations Center (CSpOC), 18th Space Control Squadron (SPCS), and National Space Defense Center (NSDC).

Essential Function:

As the designer of software application team you'll be able to design various products, to support the space dominance mission.  Day-to-day, you'll tackle specific challenges, working closely within a team to collaborate with a product manager and a team of engineers, ensuring the delivery of optimal solutions through iterative design and development.

Salary Range: $118,560.00 -  $167,960.00

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of direct experience as a Product Designer for application development teams.
  • 5+ years supporting DoD software development programs
  • BS in management, computer science, engineering, or similar is preferred, but equivale years of experience is acceptable.
  • Experience designing space software
  • Experience designing USSF/USAF software
  • Ability to convey software that makes complex, technical information digestible
  • Familiarity with AstroUX
  • TS clearance preferred, Secret clearance minimum

Preferred:

  • A rich portfolio demonstrating your journey from concept through to final design
  • 5+ years of experience designing space software
  • 5+ years of experience designing USSF/USAF software
  • 2+ years of experience designing software using AstroUX
