About the Role
Aurora Solar seeks mindful and strategic product managers passionate about delivering simple, useful, and unique solutions to intricate challenges. Our product managers embody a customer-centric approach, dedicated to integrating the voice of our customers into every aspect of our work and empowering our organization to overcome the most significant obstacles our customers face.
This role will focus on the EU market to ensure product alignment and adaptability to meet market-specific cultural and language requirements. Additionally, the role requires close attention to political and economic influences within the solar industry, analyzing their potential impact on the product, and making appropriate adjustments.
The responsibilities include synthesizing various information from the region, such as data, user research, customer interactions, and internal stakeholder perspectives. The information will be used to identify and prioritize regional problem areas, ensuring a targeted approach to addressing challenges and driving product innovation.
Your Impact
Set a compelling long-term vision to drive growth through EU expansion
Set a strategy to achieve that vision that is coherent with the company mission, the larger product and business strategy, the competitive landscape, and market trends
Understand the culture and local market to influence the product strategy
Meet regularly with our executive-level team members across departments to align a strategy, priorities, and execution plan
Work closely with peers in Product Management, Product Design, Engineering, and GTM to align on strategy, resources, priorities, and roadmaps
Work collaboratively with all our product development teams to plan and execute a roadmap that drives growth in international markets
Build a deep understanding of our entire suite of products, how we serve customer needs today, and what ways we can extend our products to fit new market needs
Meet with customers, partners, vendors, and industry leaders to build an understanding of product opportunities in new markets
Conduct hands-on research with customers to identify user needs and test solutions
Perform industry & competitive landscape research to define the strategic context for expansion into international markets
Define the top product priorities for driving international growth, set clear & measurable goals, and track progress toward objectives & key results
Accelerate our international growth by supporting product development teams and removing obstacles
What You Bring
Leadership: able to set the direction, inspire the team, and make key decisions to drive the company forward
Experience: 7+ years of product management experience with a track record of achieving results through Product Management leadership at the company level, especially with relevant experience driving product expansion into new markets
Big Thinking: to define, align, and evangelize a product vision and strategy
Collaboration: a reliable and valued member of the team to encourage and enable others to succeed
Emotional intelligence: listens, appreciates, and promotes team members’ perspectives, goals, and opportunities

Technical degree or background
MBA or relevant business-wide experience
Proficient or fluent in German and other European languages
