Join The Crew

We are hiring a Keyholder to lead our Chicago, Gold Coast team. 

Our Retail team creates a transformative experience for each and every customer that visits one of our seventeen stores. We build connections with our customers through product education, world-class-service standards, and operational excellence. We pride ourselves in owning the offline touch point for our brand, and use it as an opportunity to foster a stronger bond with loyal Away fans.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a widely celebrated brand that is looking to continue to innovate and iterate. We’re looking for candidates that are excited to provide best-in-class support to all of our customers from their arrival, and until their departure. 

What you’ll do as a Keyholder

  • You’ll manage, support, and develop a team of retail associates

  • You’ll onboard new hires while still coaching existing team members

  • You’ll communicate Away’s values and brand philosophy to your team and to customers alike

  • You’ll ensure that your team is providing the best customer service possible, by providing such service yourself

  • You’ll take ownership of in-store processes and operations and help define Away’s SOPs

  • You’ll help run an efficient and growing retail business; optimize store operations and customer journey

  • You’ll be a point person for HQ counterparts and colleagues; assist in marketing events and programming at the store

What We Offer

Our total rewards are inclusive of both compensation and benefits. What we offer within a salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including scope and qualifications for the role, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Away employees. Salary and benefit offerings are reviewed during phone screenings to ensure alignment.

  • Salary Range: $22.00 - $23.00 hourly

  • This role is eligible to participate in Away’s Retail Incentive Bonus Plan, the terms of which are determined on an basis at the discretion of the company
