This role reports to the Vice President, Creative & Marketing Operations and will require a weekly in-office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Leverage brand and customer insights to develop creative concepts that drive both engagement and action, and cement Away as the leader in our category
Successfully present and sell-in creative concepts by demonstrating a strong understanding of the brief and a clear articulation of the creative answer
Spearhead art direction and manage execution across a variety of initiatives—from 360 campaigns to ongoing, evergreen marketing—working closely with all creative partners (internally and externally) to ensure cohesive, end-to-end execution with copy and design
Lead photo/video shoots for both scrappy and large budget productions, ensuring high-quality and on-brand creative output that delivers on the brief and business objectives
Maintain a strong pulse on our customer journeys, and understand how to leverage dynamic, visual storytelling to optimize each and every customer touchpoint
Stay abreast and educate stakeholders on paid and owned channel best practices to ensure concepts and visuals deliver on channel needs
Keep a constant pulse on the latest cultural, industry, and competitive trends and successfully translate relevant insights into creative work
Champion the Away brand in every detail and uphold our brand standards across all deliverables
Minimum 7 years of experience on a brand creative team or at a creative agency/studio
Strong and dynamic creative portfolio that showcases the ability to create and direct a wide array of integrated assets across channels such as social, email, e-commerce, retail, above-the-line, and more
Proficient in Adobe Suite and other creative systems; experience with After Effects and motion highly preferred, but not required
Adept at understanding performance learnings and translating those into actionable creative insights
Creative thinker and strong visual communicator, capable of turning complex objectives into simple yet inspiring creative solutions
Understanding of pre- and post-production processes, with the ability to seamlessly steer deliverables from start to finish
Curious and resourceful with a natural ability to solve problems and seek new information
Accessible to all team members and eager to solicit feedback
Excellent organization and prioritization skills
Enjoys working in a fast-paced and ever-changing and agile environment where creativity is encouraged at every juncture
Team player with a "no task is too small" attitude
Passionate about transforming travel (but that’s a given!)
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards program that also includes benefits, bonus, equity and various social and professional investment opportunities at Away. Pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including scope and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Away employees. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at Away to fall healthily within the range based on these factors.
Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $128,000.00
This role is eligible to participate in Away’s Annual Company Performance Bonus Plan, the terms of which are determined on an annual basis at the discretion of the company
Equity Grant: commensurate with level determined at the discretion of the company
