Controls Electrician - All Levels- Open Position -Axis Automation is looking for career-oriented Controls Electricians to join a dynamic, tight-knit team creating custom factory automation equipment. Our team has decades of automation experience, spanning hundreds of projects and thousands of automation configurations. Position Title: Controls Electrician - All LevelsPosition Description: The Controls Electrician serves as a team member in the electrical assembly process for automation equipment and this electrician is responsible for panel building and wiring of electrical components used on automation equipment projects. Willing to train entry level candidate with electrical knowledge.Serves as a Control Tech team member in the electrical assembly process for automation equipmentAssemble & wire electrical panels and machine wiring according to approved design and customer specifications.Ensure that changes and problems get documented and communicated.Communicate with the project team on open issues and progress during the build process.Assist with the successful execution of equipment builds including cost, quality, timing, and customer satisfaction.Effectively and safely troubleshoot wiring and circuitsRead and understand schematicsProblem solve issues / poke yokes / cycle timeTravel for install and runoffs with customerIdentify electrical problems, and recommend adjustments/repair work as necessaryWork cross-functionally with all departments during all phases of the project including de-bug and runoffEducation and Experience RequestedHigh school diploma or equivalent certificatePreferred two (2) years electrical experience preferably with equipment buildingProficiency in wiring complex mechanical componentsTeam player, able to take direction and be self-directedHigh regard for safety standardsWillingness to travelSalary: $18-$36/hourAdditional Compensation: Overtime pay, travel payBenefits: Axis offers a comprehensive benefits package with no waiting period.
