Content Summary: Graphic Designer - Temporary at Redwood City, for Balsam BrandsJob DescriptionJob DescriptionJob DescriptionAs our Graphic Designer, you will work with the Brand Design team in bringing your design skills to life developing creative solutions across multiple channels, primarily packaging and retail design. Our ideal candidate is organized, motivated, flexible, and a strong communicator. You bring a solid ability and understanding of design, with a sharp attention to detail and dedication to the brand.This position reports to the Senior Art Director and is based in our Redwood City office location. This role is expected to work in a hybrid model, which currently includes Tuesday and Wednesday in-office.What you’ll do: Create on-brand marketing collateral, including but not limited to packaging, retail signage, flyers, brochures, direct mail pieces.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders for reviews, revisions, and approval of final files for release.Work on multiple projects at once, take feedback constructively, and meet project deadlines.Ensure consistent design standards are maintained across all projects.Provide artwork and resources to print vendors and manage printer proofs as needed.Provide digital design and print production support as needed.What you bring to the table: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent work experience3+ years in a design-related field An online portfolioPassion for designKnowledge of design standards and best practicesProficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other current design and project management toolsImpeccable eye for detail and consistency, and the ability to produce organized filesSelf-organization, ability to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, manage expectations and meet deadlinesNotes: This is a temporary position, expected to last through May 2025About Us: Balsam Brands is a global, eCommerce retailer with roots in holiday and home décor.
