Principal Software Engineer, Backend

BambooHR is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to drive the development of their next generation HR software. The ideal candidate will have extensive web development experience and a passion for building high-quality software.

Skills

Web development experience
Object-Oriented programming
MySQL proficiency
Version control with Git
CI / CD processes knowledge
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Responsibilities

Write code for backend processes and experiences
Research technologies and engineer complete solutions
Propose and implement performance optimizations
Integrate projects into applications
Contribute to improvement of systems and processes
Mentor and coach fellow engineers

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
