Join us!Team Overview:Global Risk Analytics (GRA) and Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) are sub-lines of business within Global Risk Management (GRM). Collectively, they are responsible for developing a consistent and coherent set of models, analytical tools, and tests for effective risk and capital measurement, management and reporting across Bank of America. GRA and EIT partner with the Lines of Business and Enterprise functions to ensure the capabilities it builds address both internal and regulatory requirements, and are responsive to the changing nature of portfolios, economic conditions, and emerging risks. In executing its activities, GRA and EIT drive innovation, process improvement and automation.EIT is transforming the way testing is built and executed with digital transformation, implementing automation, and leveraging cutting edge Artificial Intelligence/Natural Language Processing technologies. EIT carries a portfolio of 8,000+ tests and has a global footprint of testing professionals across the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America as well as Global Business Services (GBS) associates.Job Description:The Testing Manager (TM) plays a critical role in Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) by ensuring proactive risk management is achieved through effective testing of the bank’s processes and controls. TMs are assigned portfolio(s) aligned at either the sub-FLU/CF, product, or regulatory area, leverage their skills and expertise to plan and execute testing, and provide insight into design adequacy and operating effectiveness for the processes/controls in their respective portfolio(s).This role entails managing a team of U.S. and non-U.S. based associates responsible for developing and executing capabilities used to provide timely, useful, and actionable independent insight on the operational health of Bank of America’s processes. The candidate must be a strong communicator and able to effectively explain the rationale and details of the methodologies to a broad set of audiences that include key senior stakeholders across the Bank, as well as auditors and regulators.Testing Manager main responsibilities include:• Lead the delivery of effective end-to-end testing from planning through execution.• Perform ongoing reviews of test intakes and assess any deficiencies with the test request before committing test development resources.• Perform test portfolio analysis to identify opportunities to rationalize tests and optimize coverage.• Collaborate with FLU/CF and GCOR Risk Portfolio Owner(s) / Senior Stakeholder(s) to recommend priorities for Testing Portfolio.• Manage communications and escalations (including brokering tradeoffs) with Risk Portfolio Owner, Test Owner, and Process Owner, Senior Developer, and EIT Vertical Testing Executive throughout the end-to-end testing process.• Talent Manager: Cultivates talent, able to recruit, train and retain teams with diverse backgrounds.Required Education & Experience:• 5+ years of minimum experience in regulatory reporting, data, compliance, or risk functions• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceRequired Skills:• Risk Management: Possesses intellectual curiosity, evaluates risk and reward, challenges status quo and appropriately escalates issues according to risk appetite levels.• Strategic Thinking: Sees the broader picture and can identify new methods for doing things.• Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; can identify process and control gaps and leverages that information effectively throughout the end-to-end test process (including planning, development, and execution)• Leadership: Ability to exert broad influence among senior stakeholders, partners, and peers• Time Management: Effective at prioritization and project management• Communication: Strong verbal and written communications; adept at tailoring communications for the relevant audience• Proactive and Accountable: Self-starter; Initiates work independently before being asked, takes ownership of work.• Proficient in the Microsoft suite• Project Management: The ability to plan and manage work, and escalate and remediate related risks, to achieve project goals on time, with given resources and budget.Desired Skills:• Business Acumen: Deep knowledge of relative Laws, rules, and Regulations applicable for their coverage area / portfolio• Controls Testing: Prior experience in Risk, Compliance, Finance, or Audit• Certifications: Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM) Certification or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)Shift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week:40
