Suzy is seeking a BA/QA Analyst in order to create, document, manage and test requirements for an innovative Wilmington-based product development team. You will be responsible for quickly creating and adapting requirements in the early stages of the development cycle when there may be a number of unknowns as the team works through technical challenges and understands the limitations and opportunities associated with emerging technologies or innovative solutions. The BA/QA Analyst must operate iteratively in order to keep the needs of internal stakeholders and clients top-of-mind while making sure that there is clear documentation and process around QA.
The right candidate will have experience working closely with development teams, great communication skills, and a willingness to work quickly on their feet in a fast moving and sometimes high pressure environment. From a QA standpoint, the BA/QA Analyst needs to ensure that the high standards of the Suzy Product are maintained across any and all releases. Work with our QA Team to adopt standard Suzy practices and integrate with all QA procedures and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Work with a fast moving and innovative team as the primary owner, driver and tester of requirements and specifications

Analyze, document and communicate system and business processes

Facilitate and validate the development of system solutions to satisfy customers and business needs

Implement and provide inputs for test plans

Design and create test cases and scenarios for software testing

Perform functional and regression testing

Use bug tracking software to track and report problems

Produce the evaluated test reports and take part in software walkthroughs
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year prior experience in a similar BA/QA role
- Ability to understand and document customer business requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated, well-organized and strict attention to details
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Ability to understand and manage customer expectations and software implementation methodology
- A quick learner and hard working
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at the same time
- Should possess experience in database concepts and defect tracking tools
- Must have the capacity to understand the QA processes and work in the software environment

- The target base compensation for this role is $105,000 - $126,500.
