Position Summary: The SEO Manager will lead the Search Engine Optimization team, overseeing the strategy, management, and execution of SEO-specific content and campaigns aligned with the company's goals. This role involves identifying opportunities for optimization within SEO programs across the enterprise and ensuring their effectiveness in enhancing organic search rankings and driving traffic and ultimately sales growth.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies in collaboration with stakeholders across various channels to optimize organic rankings and drive website traffic.• Oversee the creation and execution of SEO content and campaigns, ensuring alignment with the overall digital marketing strategy.• Build and maintain regular reporting of program-specific KPIs to track and communicate the effectiveness of SEO efforts.• Represent the SEO team in cross-functional planning meetings, including Omni, category, and digital commerce discussions.• Prioritize content campaigns, keyword research, and link optimization to drive traffic and sales.• Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and technology teams to ensure SEO programs are fully integrated with all related activities.• Perform and review technical SEO site audits to find opportunities to improve performance by enhancing site structure and technical SEO best practices.• Monitor and analyze SEO performance against benchmarks to measure impact and adjust strategies as needed.• Provide leadership and direction to the SEO team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required.• A minimum of 5 years of experience in search engine optimization and online marketing.• Proficiency with SEO technology tools like BrightEdge and Conductor is preferred.• Experience with website eCommerce platforms is preferred.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform data analysis and problem-solving.• Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:• A strategic thinker with a passion for staying ahead of SEO trends and best practices.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with agency and technology partners.• A results-driven approach with a track record of achieving measurable improvements in organic search rankings and conversion rates.Full Time Benefits Summary:Enjoy discounts on retail merchandise, our restaurants, world-class resorts and conservation attractions!• Medical• Dental• Vision• Health Savings Account• Flexible Spending Account• Voluntary benefits• 401k Retirement Savings• Paid holidays• Paid vacation• Paid sick time• Bass Pro Cares Fund• And more!Bass Pro Shops is an equal opportunity employer.
