JOB PURPOSE OR MISSION: Collects and prepares cost data, analyses fiscal accounting and related systems, regulatory submissions, preparation of and presentations for budget and reimbursement and financial feasibility studies.PERFORMANCE CRITERIACRITERIA A: Everyday Excellence Values - Employee demonstrates Everyday Excellence values in the day-to-day performance of their job.PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:• Demonstrates courtesy and caring to each other, patients and their families, physicians, and the community.• Takes initiative in living our Everyday Excellence values and vital signs.• Takes initiative in identifying customer needs before the customer asks.• Participates in teamwork willingly and with enthusiasm.• Demonstrates respect for the dignity and privacy needs of customers through personal action and attention to the environment of care.• Keeps customers informed, answers customer questions and anticipates information needs of customers.CRITERIA B: Corporate Compliance - Employee demonstrates commitment to the Points of Integrity and the GHS Corporate Compliance Guidelines.PERFORMANCE STANDARDS• Practices diligence in fulfilling the regulatory and legal requirements of the position and department.• Maintains accurate and reliable patient/organizational records.• Maintains professional relationships with appropriate officials; communicates honesty and completely; behaves in a fair and nondiscriminatory manner in all professional contacts.CRITERIA C: Personal Achievement - Employee demonstrates initiative in achieving work goals and meeting personal objectives.PERFORMANCE STANDARDS• Uses accepted procedures and practices to complete assignments. Create analytics content for end users and third parties who require Epic data.PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:• Configuring and testing Epic-released and Foundation System content for all applications.• Create content to display Epic data from Chronicles, Clarity & Caboodle.• Analyzes, designs, documents, and implements internal financial reporting systems and procedures as needed.• Collaborates with internal and external parties to deliver specific analytics content as required.• Write/design SQL and configure Radar settings for SQL metrics.• Distribute analytics content to appropriate parties.• Review requests and collaborate with subject matter experts on content and data needs of customers.2. Building/testing and updating Epic analytics and reports as needed.PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:• Maintain Analytics catalog and associated metadata records• Testing analytics build in a specified testing environment and volume testing in live environments.• Reviewing upgrade documentation related to Clarity & Caboodle features and determining how to implement changes.• All other Business Intelligence Developer related updates as assigned.3. Performs all other duties as assigned.PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:• Complete additional assignments as assigned by the organization.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSEntry level to three years of experience in a financial setting. Experience in healthcare is preferred.Experience with SSRS, SSIS with strong knowledge of data querying, extraction and manipulation is preferred.Epic reporting experience preferred.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s Degree within a business or finance-related field, including finance, accounting, computer sciences/information systems, statistics, and/or business analytics, required. Master’s degree preferred.SPECIAL SKILL, LICENSE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTSAdvanced Excel; Proficient in SQL and relational database concepts; proficiency and demonstrated experience with analytics tools.HIPAA REQUIREMENTS:Maintains knowledge of and adherence to all applicable HIPAA regulations appropriate to Job Position including but not limited to: medical record w/limitation to job function both paper and electronic, patient demographic information, patient financial and/or 3rd party billing information, research information.SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:Maintains knowledge of and adherence to all applicable safety practices appropriate to Job Position including but not limited to: incident reporting.
