SummaryThe Translational Nanomedicine Research Lab in the Department ofSurgery at BCM is looking for a research technician. Our researchprogram aims to rapidly advance functional biomaterials, drugdelivery, and bioengineering strategies through multidisciplinaryapproaches. A major focus of our research group is to developtechnologies that can be translated to the clinic to improvepatients' quality of life.Job Duties• Performs biomaterials synthesis.• Conducts mechanical and physicochemical characterization ofsynthesized biomaterials.• Participates in group meetings and contributes to researchdiscussions.• Assists with day-to-day lab management and organization.• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field.
