Summary:
The Benefit Administration Implementation Specialist is responsible for the implementation of Co-sourced OneDigital and PlanSource benefit administration clients. They work directly with the broker consultant team and client on implementing the client’s benefits portal.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collect, configure requirements, test and validate processes on new client implementations.
  • Provide answers and basic customer service to clients and internal representatives after launch of site.
  • Coordinate with other departments for necessary data to complete customer profiles.
  • Implement all plan content materials for clients and broker.
  • Train new client admins on use of benefit admin system.
  • Coordinate and initiate all carrier and vendor EDI/Custom file connections with benefit admin vendor.
  • Serves as a configuration subject matter expert for internal benefit administration team.
  • Responds quickly and effectively to project risk factors and issues related to delivery
  • Perform additional responsibilities and requests as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
  • Organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
  • Problem solving skills and a strong work ethic are necessary.
  • Must be self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities and a large workload and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong presentation skills: Communicates with clients and associates professionally and effectively
  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of PlanSource benefit admin system
  • Strong communication, technical, and computer skills are required
Education, Training and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in benefit administration or related field.
  • Customer service history required.
  • Health insurance experience at a broker or carrier is helpful.
