The Job:  Best Egg is seeking a Communications and Content Manager to join the Best Egg Brand Strategy and Existing Customer Marketing team. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Communications and Content. In this role, you will translate the Best Egg brand into a variety of short and long-form content to help our customers take control of their financial future today. This will include working with team members in channel, product, communications, digital, creative, and analytics, as well as aligning all messaging with our brand voice and guidelines.

The right candidate will be an artful storyteller with the ability to partner with designer to create compelling content right for our customers. You will be successful if you love writing and storytelling, have a deep understanding of how to effectively translate a brand voice, and have experience writing across a variety of digital channels.

• Partner closely with product team to produce consistent, high-quality content, including email, direct mail, blog posts, web pages, newsletters, social posts, and video scripts.
• Partner with UX designers to develop content for web and mobile experiences, as well as, landing page content.
• Help strategize, implement, and maintain a consistent content strategy throughout the product experience, deeply understanding how customers interact with the platform, using data to inform decisions, and building alignment between UX and marketing content.
• Help drive content through a multi-step approval with internal stakeholders such as compliance, legal, internal experts, SMEs, etc.
• Be proficient with AI tools to help create content.
• Coordinate with communications team to ensure customer experience is seamless across products and channels  

• Bachelor’s Degree – Communications, Journalism, Marketing, PR (preferred)
• 3-5+ years’ experience in copywriting, content strategy and development, or digital marketing in Finance or Technology
• Strong understanding of financial services and experience creating digital content for a financial platform
• Ability to simplify complex concepts into compelling narratives across multiple channels
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in coordinating and controlling concurrent projects and deadlines
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving needs and priorities
• Experience working with a variety of stakeholders and working cross-functionally
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Copy editing experience with documented standards including brand guidelines, style, voice, and tone
