Strategic Partnership Manager - Job Description
Better Health is growing and looking for a Strategic Partnership Manager. As the Strategic Partnership Manager, you will lead our Expansion team’s efforts growing Better Health through partnerships with health systems, manufacturers, payer case management teams and more. We are looking for someone to come in that is ready to sell, build, and scale successful partnerships that help people better manage their chronic conditions at home.
In this role, you will work across every team at Better Health to operationalize our partnerships to make them more successful. This will include everything from managing the launch of a partnership with a manufacturer to driving sales team effectiveness on our CRM. Every day you will wear multiple hats ranging from business development and sales growth to project management and data analysis. Quantitative and qualitative findings will be the base for your recommended strategies. This role is for you if you are a nimble leader that is excited about disrupting healthcare and comfortable operating in the unknown. While you don’t have to be an expert on Better Health’s business, you have to be ready to help relentlessly pursue growth by driving partnership growth and creating exceptional experiences for the members, providers, and partners we serve.
The primary objective of this role is to leverage the momentum that Better Health has created in our partnerships and supercharge them to the next level.
What will you do as the Strategic Partnership Manager/Lead?
Lead with the Head of Expansion to build a business development program across all partnership channels including health systems, manufacturers, and other digital health partners
Collaborate on all phases of a partnership launch from sale to post-implementation partner management to ensure partnerships start, scale, and succeed
Pitch and sell to prospective partners to drive the pipeline of new opportunities, selling at all levels from individual to enterprise level
Drive cross-functional efforts for mission critical initiatives holding team members to KPIs, timelines, and expectations
Build playbooks for our initiatives to make them scalable and repeatable
Build health systems sales team effectiveness by building sales onboarding programs, driving usage of CRMs, and create improved reporting
Push sales team members to achieve goals by harnessing them with data that pushes them to the right clients with the most opportunities
Dive deep with our market access team to help build the right network and unlock new opportunities in preferred partnership arrangements with payers
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and dig in where needed, filling gaps and ensuring projects are completed on time and successfully
What do you bring to the table?
5+ years of healthcare experience
Experience at an early stage start-up, building 0 to 1
Adapt in business development with providers, health systems, payers, and other healthcare partners
Fluent in leveraging data to do research, model, and story tell
Comfortable operating in the unknown and balancing multiple projects and responsibilities
Entrepreneurial spirit and creative style that you use to power your own work and encourage others
