The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a key member of the Technology team, reporting to the Head of Engineering. The key purpose of this role is to implement and embed scaled Agile across how we plan and manage work, fundamentally shifting the way we execute change across technology in partnership with the broader business.
This role involves embedding SAFe Agile practices across release trains, engaging with cross functional teams and stakeholders to promote continuous improvement and enhance delivery efficiency. It also involves orchestrating and optimising the delivery of high quality technology solutions that enable business outcomes. To do this you will manage the end to end release process, planning, and prioritisation, handling dependencies and risks, and facilitating key Agile ceremonies.
