BI Data Engineer (m/f/d)

Your mission

Full-time, 40h/Week, based in Berlin, Germany.

We are now looking for a talented BI Data Engineer (m/f/d) who will play an integral role in the technical development of critical tools and business workflows leveraging data for decision making. Your mission is to define, design and implement BI technology to support strategic initiatives and enable data-driven decisions at scale.

Your responsibilities

• You will work closely with Lengoo’s Team Lead Finance & BI to design, develop and implement Lengoo’s BI Data Warehouse.

• You will understand, implement and automate ETL-pipelines according to industry standards.

• You will identify, design and implement internal process improvements: from automating manual processes to optimizing data delivery.

• You will extract data from multiple sources into usable as well as meaningful reports and analysis.

• You will work closely with other departments to understand the data extracted from different applications.

• You will design and implement metrics, dashboards and reports.

• You will ensure data quality, accuracy and reliability.

Your profile

• You have completed your studies in computer science, business informatics, science, or provide relevant work experience.

• You have at least 3 years of professional experience in an analytical environment and already worked with data visualization concepts using business intelligence reporting tools.

• You have experience in Data Warehousing solutions and advanced knowledge of data warehousing concepts.

• You are a strong python programmer with data wrangling skills, including extracting, transforming, and standardizing data formats

• You have advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases.

• You have experience working in the cloud (e.g. GCP, Azure, AWS, etc.)

• You have great data analysis skills and feel confident working in Excel or Google Sheets.

• You have a hands-on attitude, proactively tackle problems and want to take responsibility right from the beginning.

• You are able to communicate in written and spoken English in a professional setting.
