Billing/Accounts Receivable Associate II

LinQuest is seeking a Billing/Accounts Receivable Associate II to join our team in California, Colorado, New Mexico, Virginia, or Alabama. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a clearance is required.

In this role you will support the day-to-day operations of the billing team.

**Hybrid/remote work will be considered for this opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Review data, correct discrepancies and reconcile customer purchase orders/contracts to invoices.
  • Accurately produce customer invoices in coordinate with daily delivery schedules/billing requirements.
  • Generate routine billing reports for management.
  • Assist customers with billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Inquire about payment status from the customers and resolve any accounts receivable payment issues.
  • Maintain customer files, billing records, and confidential data.
  • Review and prepare customer invoices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Solid MS Office skills and an expertise in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to learn new software tools.
  • Strong communication/presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently or as a member of a team, as appropriate.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Deltek CostPoint, Deltek Budgeting and Planning System, Cognos, Unanet, Salesforce.

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from approximately $50,000 to $68,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
