We are looking for a BIM Manager to join our team! In this role you will have the opportunity to drive our 3D modeling strategy for solving builders plan and design issues at Paradigm.

What You Will Do:

• You will oversee a team of BIM Coordinators, including hiring, training & management of day-to-day activities. Day to day activities include resource scheduling, quality control, delivery management and owning the BIM Coordination processes.
• You will be responsible for establishing and coaching your team on process and Plan Standards as well as setting expectations regarding task completion timeframe.
  • Training and coaching on process standards is a critical part of your job. Ensuring a uniform product is critical.
  • You will be expected to coach and train on expected turn-around time; and work with team members on strategies/methods to improve productivity and communicating with customers at the appropriate level of detail required to understand and solve their needs.
• You are responsible for weekly reporting on daily trending actual vs. forecast and provide data for monthly & yearly reporting metrics.
  • It is important that you are familiar with the capacity of your team. Understanding and communicating your team needs is vital in ensuring that deadlines are met.
• You will work with the Director, BIM Coordinators, and internal teams to set goals, and analyze the impact of everything we do.
• You will partner with our BFS component design team to incorporate the actual design and manufactured components that are being delivered onsite for customers in the BIM Coordination process.
• You are responsible for determining process improvements via a continuous improvement methodology. This could include both efficiency mapping and quality enhancements.
• You will be working directly with external & internal clients. You must be able articulate both the technical aspects of 3D modeling in Revit and Navisworks & how it applies to different applications, but also tell the story of why it is beneficial.
• You will have a deep understand of BIM. You’re the expert. Your knowledge will be used to uncover unique and innovative methods to deploy data and solutions to plan issues builder’s encounter.
• You will define documentation & training needs for internal/external users. This includes modeling guidelines, specifications, industry standards and best practices.
• You will be responsible for translating business and user requirements through conversations with customers into functional requirements, specified in an appropriate level of detail that can be utilized by our development teams.

What You Need to Succeed:

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• You have 7+ years of professional working experience in an engineering or architectural firm.
• You are a critical thinker, and have strong requirement gathering skills, and proven problem-solving skills.
• You are curious. The concept of getting to play in the R & D world-not only excites you but drives you.
• You focus on the process with the end in mind, the end result of what you create matters, and it drives you to iterate and innovate.
• You are flexible & can adapt to changing demands and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. We are agile!
• You will need to travel internationally; the ability to obtain a passport is required.
