We are searching for a consultative, technical, Account Executive to cover Academic, Government, and non-profit accounts in the SF South Bay area.You will be responsible for prospecting, nurturing, and closing sales capital equipment leads for Droplet Digital PCR, Real- Time PCR, Imaging, Chromatography, and Bio-Plex Multiplex Immunoassay Systems.Salary + commission pay structure with company car provided. Together, we empower our customers with the products and tools they need to make critical breakthroughs in research and treatment.How You’ll Make An Impact• Develop and Execute a Territory Sales Plan.• Promote & sell Bio-Rad Account Executive portfolio consisting of proteomics and genomics instrumentation (Droplet Digital PCR, Real-Time PCR, Imaging, Chromatography, and Bio-Plex Multiplex Immunoassay Systems) and consumables to achieve territory sales goals.• Build, manage and grow sales opportunity funnel.• Partner with regional teammates to ensure achievement of territory sales goals.• Communicate with regional manager on activities, market trends, opportunities & forecast.What You Bring• Education: BA/BS/MS/PhD.• Work Experience: 3-5 Years of sales experience with a strong focus on selling genomics and/or proteomic capital equipment preferred.• Equivalent lab experience utilizing aforementioned instrumentation suitable.• Excellent communication & presentation skills (verbal and written).• Highly motivated with a demonstrated record of success.• Strong knowledge of genomics and/or proteomics research space.• Excellent interpersonal skills.• Developed analytical skills.• Knowledge of Salesforce.com and Microsoft office.• Ability to work in and drive to accounts in the SF South Bay Area to include Stanford, UCSF, CDPH, UC Santa Cruz and Monterey.Total Rewards Package: At Bio-Rad, we’re empowered by our purpose and recognize that our employees are as well. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
