Distribution Warehouse Supervisor II

The Global Supply Chain team is responsible for promptly and accurately getting Bio-Rad products into the hands of our customers. We maintain product integrity from end to end and respond expeditiously from the moment an order is received. As a result, customers around the globe receive the test kits, instruments, and consumable solutions they need - on time and in full to ultimately provide better healthcare and outcomes for their patients.


In this role you will:

You will oversee the Shipping team’s daily operation. Make dynamic modifications to the typical teamwork assignments of carton induction, picking, packing, receiving, put away, wave release, and export shipping to meet demand. Provide coaching and training to team members and assist in establishing priorities. Lead daily Tier 1 meeting to provide metrics feedback and establish the day’s objectives. Communication and coordination with other departments will be needed to guide the proper processing of all deliveries/shipments.


How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Contribute to meeting the daily business goals of On-Time In-Full customer shipments.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the team on their daily progress towards both individual and shared goals.
  • Effectively supervise the proper receipt and storage of both materials and shipping supplies.
  • Identify areas for improvement and execute projects to implement changes.
  • Contribute to a dynamic, global warehouse team.

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • 6+ years working in materials related functions in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse/distribution facility.
  • Ability to flex and adapt to unexpected changes and fluctuations in scheduling is extremely desirable.
  • Experience working with ISO and FDA preferred.
  • Working knowledge of an ERP system, preferably SAP.

Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,600 to $117,700 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
