Security Engineer - DevSecOps

Bitly is seeking a proactive Security Engineer passionate about cybersecurity to integrate best security practices in the software development lifecycle.

Skills

Proficiency in Go, JavaScript, Bash, and Terraform
Strong understanding of web application security principles
Familiarity with AWS and GCP production environments
Experience in implementing security best practices for compliance standards like SOC 2

Responsibilities

Design and maintain robust security architectures for applications and cloud infrastructure
Implement security automation workflows and code reviews
Support compliance efforts with industry standards like SOC 2
Collaborate with product engineering teams on application security and secure coding practices
Lead incident response efforts during security breaches
