Overview

The Senior Sales Enablement Lead will ensure that our sales and marketing teams know how to best represent Blackhawk Network's catalog and position it favorably against competitors, helping us win business. This role is responsible for providing the sales team with the necessary tools, content, training, and knowledge to effectively sell Blackhawk Network's products and services. The ultimate goal is to increase sales productivity and close more deals by equipping the sales team with the resources to engage buyers and navigate the sales process effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Develop sales-ready content such as presentations, product demos, case studies, and email templates tailored to different buyer representatives.
  • Training and Coaching: Provide ongoing training programs to improve sales skills, product knowledge, and selling techniques.
  • Technology Utilization: Leverage CRM systems, sales enablement platforms, and other tools to streamline sales processes and provide access to relevant information.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Analyze sales data to identify content effectiveness and areas for training improvement
  • Alignment with Product Management and Marketing: Ensure marketing materials are aligned with sales messaging and effectively support the sales cycle.
  • Customer Engagement: Meet with customers virtually and in person to better understand their content needs and assist sales teams as needed.
  • Information Flow: The Sales Enablement Specialist will act as a crucial liaison between the sales team and the global content team. This role involves:
  • Analyzing Data: Reviewing sales performance data to understand content usage patterns and its impact on sales outcomes.
  • Communicating Needs: Regularly communicating the customer’s and sales team's content needs and preferences to the global content team through structured reports and meetings.
  • Collaborating on Content Creation: Working closely with the global content team to co-develop new materials or new content products that align with the sales strategy and address identified gaps.
  • Providing Updates: Keeping the global content team informed about any changes in sales strategies, market trends, or customer feedback that may influence content requirements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in the Gift Card industry
  • Experience working with global teams
  • Experience adapting products or services for a regional audience
  • Occasional travel, nights, or weekends as needed
  • Excellent customer-facing skills
  • Prior experience with Product Marketing, Sales or Sales enablement
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and identify trends
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners

  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales enablement platforms
  • Experience working with global gift card distributors
  • Experience working with European business rules and regulations
