About this role
We are seeking a dynamic associate who likes to innovate and seeks complex problems to join the Client Experience Platform team in its Gurgaon IDA. The team’s primary responsibilities are to leverage AI and data to build a platform which enables innovation, lead generation and maximize the commercial impact of BlackRock book of business. Requirements:
5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a focus on React.js and TypeScript.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
Experience in building reusable UI components and optimizing performance in React applications.
Strong understanding of React hooks, state management (Redux, React Context, Zustand, etc.), and component lifecycle.
Handson experience with React Router, React Query for data fetching and client-side routing.
Experience in building responsive and accessible web applications (ARIA, WCAG standards).
Familiarity with CSS pre-processors (SCSS, SASS, LESS) and CSS Modules, CSS-in-JS solutions (Styled Components, TailwindCSS).
Experience with React Testing Library, Jest, or other frontend testing frameworks.
Understanding of UI/UX principles and the ability to collaborate with design teams.
Experience with modern build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, esbuild).
Strong experience in debugging, profiling, and optimizing frontend performance.
Handson experience with Git and version control workflows (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
Nice to Have:
Experience working with monorepo architecture using NX.
Exposure to Micro Frontends and module federation.
Familiarity with ServerSide Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG) using Next.js.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
Experience in agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
Exposure to financial, investment management, or fintech domains.
