Job DescriptionYour RoleThe Transformation, Operations, and Customer Experience team delivers operational excellence, continuous improvement, and transformative evolution that provides members, providers, and partners with quality outcomes and sustainable affordability. The Strategic Planning and Performance, Principal will report to the Strategic Planning and Performance Senior Director. In this role you will provide thought leadership and active day-to-day support of organizational and communication demands of the Transformation team inclusive of supporting the VP Transformation with effective decision-making, project management and execution of strategic initiatives.Your WorkIn this role, you will:• Coordinate planning and execution tracking of complex programs spanning across business areas which encompass multiple projects and initiatives. Drive accountability to monitor execution and to deliver against action plans, through implementation to successful conclusion.• Create presentations and speaking points for meetings with leadership. Effectively and concisely summarize information for Senior Leadership in clear, action-oriented, time-bound, and visually appropriate communications.• Drive process create and track progress against strategic pillars, annual goals, and quarterly milestones.• Build long-term strategic plan with leadership from operations and customer experience. Ensure these strategies align to the enterprise strategy.• Integrate our long-term strategic plan (“roadmap”) with other key organizations across the enterprise.• Build cross-functional relationships across the organization to identify synergies, gaps, dependencies, and other key business issues. Drive and facilitate routine meetings with these organizations.• Coordinate and manage team meetings for the Director+ and VP+ community throughout the year.• Manage communications including All-Hands meetings for our organization, monthly newsletters, external speaking engagements, leadership huddles, board reporting, and other key communications. Create and maintain annual calendar to ensure timely delivery of all materials, with appropriate leadership review in advance of due date.• Coordinate volunteer opportunities for our organization and track performance against Corporate Citizenship goals.• Provide human resource capacity and development support and coordination with the People & Engagement team.QualificationsYour Knowledge and Experience• Strong attention to detail• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience• Requires at least 10 years of prior relevant experience• Requires excellent verbal and written communication, including ability to provide quality reporting at a level appropriate for Senior Leadership and Board of Directors• Requires ability to apply critical thinking to strategic plan and to influence and gain alignment cross-functionally within our team and across the enterprise• Requires excellent Microsoft PowerPoint skillsPay Range:The pay range for this role is: $ 146,000.00 to $ 218,900.00 for California.Note:Please note that this range represents the pay range for this and many other positions at Blue Shield that fall into this pay grade.
