Parts Counter Representative (BMW)

What You Will Do:

• Distribute parts/supplies at counter and post parts to work orders in dealership systems

• Assist in shipping and receiving by unpacking/packing boxes; stock parts on shelves

• Unload trucks and signs for shipments; inspects for damage and returns if necessary

• Conduct physical counts of parts/supplies for cycle inventory

• Advise Manager Parts of stock outs and low stock problems based on inventory system data or visual inspection

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Place daily parts orders

• Assist parts manager in processing weekly stock orders; stock and post incoming orders

• Notify appropriate parties when special order parts arrive

• Serve as back-up for parts manager for inventory functions

• Maintain up-to-date parts price list; update electronic parts files

• Compile stock control reports such as consumption rate and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment

• Provide necessary information to the warranty department to allow prompt filing of parts warranties

• Continuously develop your product knowledge to become fluent on all things BMW. Know the ins and the outs of product offerings and the latest technologies

• Bring your ‘A game’ along with a positive attitude to work with you every single day

Who You Are:

• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Generally, work is performed Monday through Saturday with one day off during the week. You will be required to work some Saturdays and some late nights.
