Intern, Product Management Innovations and Tech Partnerships job at BMW Group. California.This is a full-time internship position for our Fall/Spring Rotation, expected to start September 16, 2024 through March 14, 2025 in Mountain View, CA.The intern will work with internal and external stakeholders and support the cross functional teams to create new product and business opportunities for the BMW Group with external partners. They will support the team in maintaining close working relationships with Silicon Valley Technology Companies and other partners that help BMW and its US partners to achieve their mutual business objectives. This involves devising innovative business models and new products, in close collaboration with marketing, engineering, sales, and UX/design on both BMW Headquarters and US entities.If you love to work in an international environment, enjoy driving BMW premium cars, and want to work on the intersection of tech and automotive, we look forward to receiving your application and get to know you!Key Responsibilities:Define product strategies, including product vision, goals, and roadmaps, as well as market positioning, in alignment with the BMW Group strategy and the guidance provided by central Product Management and engineering unitsCollaborate with various experts, including software engineers, designers, finance professionals, and marketers, on different projectsSupport the team in projects with external partners, from technology companies to media-tech and startupsThroughout each project, gather, research, and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendationPresent project results in internal and external management meetings and implement recommendations as part of a cross-functional teamPrepare corporate presentations and deliver information to team members and management at BMW NA and BMW Headquarters in Munich, GermanyJoin the BMW North America team and enjoy a high-performance Total Rewards package that may include:Medical InsuranceAll with options for $0 Employee contributionPaid Time Off in addition to Company paid holidays where eligibleHybrid work environmentIntern Vehicle Lease ProgramThe hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $32.50.The hourly rate for Graduate students is $40.00.The selected student's academic level will be used to determine the final pay rate.
