About Us 

Board Intelligence is a rapidly growing Software as a Service (SaaS) business, pioneering a product that drives board effectiveness for decision makers and directors. We’ve been helping boards to make smarter, faster decisions for 20 years and we’ve been turning that knowledge into software for eight years. With over 35,000 users engaged on our platform, we work with FTSE 100s, large privately owned companies, public sector and government departments, and have delivered ~50% YOY growth over the past five years.  

We’re 140 people today and growing fast. As we grow, we’re fiercely protective of our friendly, high performing culture. The Team

Our Product & Tech Team is 50 and counting, spanning Product Design, Product Management, Software Engineering, Infrastructure and QA. Our backgrounds are varied and together we work hard to create a product which is loved by our 35k+ users and delivers on our ambious mission to help boards and leadership teams be a powerful driver of performance and a force for good. 

What is Product’s remit? 

  • Defining and delivering a market-leading platform that embeds our mission and vision 
  • Building a product that is renowned for its intuitive simplicity and usability 
  • Guiding the Product & Tech Function to achieve our goals 
  • Ensuring Board Intelligence delivers the impact our clients need and expect 

What will you be responsible for? 

Working side by side with the senior team, and leading on one of our four products, you will: 

  • Effectively manage a product with the expectation to scale learnings and contribute across the broader product portfolio as needed
  • Deeply understand the market landscape and nuanced customer needs, translating these insights into effective product strategies and features
  • Understanding the complex processes surrounding Board meetings, including board actions and matters management
  • Leverage the known need for improved board information and established user base to drive product development
  • Excel at solving reasonably complicated problems with data-informed decisions and sound judgement
  • Maintain a strategic perspective that extends beyond the immediate product to consider broader business impact
  • Apply rigorous thinking to deliver the best possible changes and value for our clients
  • Act with integrity and in the best interest of the business, even in challenging situations
  • Ensure clear communication and alignment within the team, proactively escalating issues

 

  • Extensive experience leading product strategy and execution within business-to-business markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to deeply understand B2B customer needs and translate them into successful product strategies.
  • Proven track record of effectively solving complex problems using data-driven insights and sound judgement.
  • Strong strategic thinking capabilities with a focus on how product decisions impact the wider business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a history of aligning teams and influencing stakeholders

Desirable skills:

  • Experience working with established, intricate B2B products or platforms.
  • Strong skills in conducting customer research and using feedback to iterate and improve products.
  • Understanding of mergers and acquisitions or private equity environments.
