Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain Category Management Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) (Level 3 or 4) to join our SC BCA Interiors Category Management team in Everett, Washington!Category Management consists of jobs associated with both the assessment and recommendation for strategic acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations and with the management and improvement of supply chain management and processes.This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.We are committed to providing our team equal opportunity for growth in a stable encouraging work environment. Identifies and participates in supplier and business improvement activities.• Provides outcomes for potential integration into contracting strategies.• Increase visibility to global Industrial Participation/Strategic Work Placement obligations bridging the gap for obligation fulfillment across the company• Support sales campaigns by preparing new suppliers and exploring new partnerships• Work in partnership with category management and procurement teams to align new sourcing options that are bid ready• Document streamline processes associated with identifying, on-boarding, training, qualification, and developing suppliers• Partner with cross-functional internal Boeing stakeholders, including Boeing International, Boeing Research & Technology, Product Development, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain Management, and Business Development to regularly review, streamline, and discuss the development of country opportunities/issues and supply chain requirementsThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):• 3+ years of experience conducting data, trend and/or forecasting analysis• 3+ years of experience in building and presenting plans or recommendations to executive leadership• 3+ years of experience with performing strategy work (e.g., market or competitive research and analysis, strategy development, and facilitating strategic decisions)• 3+ years of experience with Supply Chain and/or Materials Management• Must be willing and able to travel up to 10-20% of the time domestically and internationallyPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):• 5+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience• Bachelor’s degree or higher• 5 + years of experience in a supply chain, technical, or engineering field• 5+ years of experience with forecasting industry groupsTypical Education/Experience:Mid-Level (Level 3): Typically, 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.Senior (Level 4): Typically, 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
