Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Supply Chain First Line Manager to support the Executive Transport Services & Support team in Oklahoma City, OK! This Supply Chain leader will partner with programs and successfully work across functions to achieve the needs of the business is critical to this position. In addition, the ability to work across all Boeing business units to ensure consistency is critical to support Boeing long term strategic goals. Position Responsibilities: • Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and having the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements • Manages employees from multiple teams performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports • Presents to the customer in program reviews • Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes and related tools • Manages, develops and motivates employees and managers This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • More than 3 years of experience leading supplier contract negotiations. • More than 3 years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams. • More than 3 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • Bachelor’s degree or higher • More than 3 years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers • More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services • More than 3 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations). • More than 3 years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action. • Experience leading a team or program. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
