Financial Analyst – Physician... Finance
General Purpose:
We are looking for a dynamic analyst to join our growing Medical Group team. This position is ideal for someone who is analytical, eager to learn, and ready to use their problem-solving skills to make an impact in the lives of patients that we serve. This position will support the financial and operational functions of the System Medical Group in several ways. This includes producing system analytics and reporting related to financial and operational performance and developing and managing an array of analytical tools to enhance operational performance across our broad footprint. Work side by side with our leaders, using data to tell the story and help improve the lives of our patients.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
• Own and maintain monthly reporting tools dedicated to improving financial and operational performance, including analyses of variances and trends and comparison to peer groups and benchmarks.
• Often required to lead projects and assist with development/implementation of new reporting tools and processes within the Medical Group analytics space.
• Work in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams across the organization while acting as a steward of financial data and operational best practices within the Medical Group area.
• Support the maintenance of data and ensure data integrity, including but not limited to compiling information for input into various reporting systems (i.e. Hyperion, Workday, Athena, Power BI).
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses to aid in real time administrative and decision-making purposes.
• Present and analyze large amounts of data in many user-friendly ways while providing concise, attractive, and illustrated reports.
• Identify improvements to enhance the maintenance or utilization of analytical information.
• Other analytic, finance, and support services as identified.
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree
Specialty/Major- Finance, Accounting, or related field
Minimum Years and Type of Experience Required:
1-3 years of comparable experience in Finance, Accounting, Operations, or Data Analysis.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
• Advanced excel skills required (i.e. large datasets, graphs, complex formulas).
• Taking initiative and working independently on complex projects/initiatives with the ability to manage time and prioritize.
• Passion for being hands-on in problem-solving and execution.
• Demonstrate humility through your actions, relationships, and communications with others.
• Ability to communicate effectively with high-level executives.
• Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred: Power BI, SQL, Tableau experience is a plus
