This position will be the main point of contact for the new provider, ensuring that all necessary activities are performed to ensure an accurate start date. This position leads with a customer service mindset, catering to providers and internal stakeholders as it relates to the management of the onboarding process and workflows. This position will work closely with Operations and other internal stakeholders within the onboarding process.Essential Job Functions• Serves as a liaison between the ministry and the provider throughout the entire onboarding process.• Responsible for performing necessary background checks on all providers prior to start date, ensuring they are cleared to start.• Schedule and document Occupational Health screenings and I9 verifications for all providers prior to start date.• Responsible for coordinating updates and communication between provider and BSMH departments including follow-up communication, collection and distribution of all required documents and forms.• Identifies follow-up needed and conducts appropriate timely follow-up investigation and communications.• Leverages ministry credentialing platform as centralized collection point of all required onboarding documents.• Continuously manages onboarding workflows and provides suggestions for process improvements• Participates in all Provider Integration Team (PIT) calls and provides necessary updates• Participates in other duties and responsibilities as assigned.• This document is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job. Employees may be required to perform other job-related duties as required by their supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodation.Employment QualificationsEducation: Associate's degree (required)Experience: Minimum of 3 years (required)Other Knowledge Skills, and Abilities (required):Strong computer technology skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Other Knowledge Skills, and Abilities (preferred):Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization. Demonstrate a professional and adaptable demeanor with internal and external clients, including administrators, physicians, peers, and support staff.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including superior grammar and proofreading skills.
