About the team
The GS/PSD1 (Global Services for Distribution) is globally responsible for warehousing and fine distribution processes. The field of activities includes the whole variety from management of logistic service providers, the design of warehouse managements system solutions, definition of lean and quality standards for warehouses and holistic process optimization. Data analytics is a key factor in this field to drive the improvement processes.
► You'll be a developer in an established WIT (Warehouse Information Tool) software in the ASP.NET (Blazor) framework
► You'll do the further development of new processes or enhancements, based on User Department requirements
► You'll do performance improvements & bug fixes
► You'll support on-site during roll-out phases
► You'll do the 3rd level support
► You'll do the setup of infrastructure for testing and source code handling
► Bachelor or Masters in related business technology required (computer science, engineering, or related field is preferred)
► Proficiency in ASP.NET framework and C# programming language
► Familiarity with Blazor framework and its components
► Strong programming skills in SQL
► Experience in working with relational database – especially MS SQL database
► Knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript
► Experience with client-side web development and frameworks
► Understanding and experience in development of RESTful APIs and web services
► Experience with warehouse management systems and logistics processes, together with productivity and costs savings
► Understanding of software development methodologies and software architecture
► Dedicated to developing clean and maintainable analysis code and ensuring the correctness of the evaluation results
► Ability to work independently and collaboratively in global environment
► Languages: Fluent verbal and written communication in English. German preferred.
