We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Commercialization IT organization as the UI/UX Content Lead - Content Platforms & Delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of UI/UX strategies across our content platforms. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging and intuitive content solutions that enhance the overall user experience. This role will be leveraging user-center processes to facilitate effective designs and will be working with software engineers, data scientists, product, and business process owners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI/UX design, understanding of the digital marketing process and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: • Responsible for leading strategic UI/UX design with the ability to facilitate creative thinking across the commercialization content landscape • Develop and implement a comprehensive UI/UX strategy to deliver a highly impactful experience for end users adopting GenAI content. • Conceptualize, plan, design information architecture, wireframes, and prototypes according to requirements in a complex and evolving product area • Lead the full design process hands-on: research, synthesis, ideation, concept creation and work with other designers to translate insights and test high-fidelity prototypes • Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure content is seamlessly integrated into the user interface. • Conduct usability testing to identify areas for improvement based on user feedback. • Contribute to research initiatives to identify meaningful and actionable user-center insights. • Ensure design frameworks are visually appealing, accessible, and enhances the overall user experience. • Produce final, annotated design artifacts and solutions that can be clearly articulated to engineers • Think creatively and strategically about the end-to-end user experience, ease of use, and effectiveness. • Work closely with enterprise UX and accessibility teams to ensure collaboration and consistency across product and business areas • Understand product roadmaps that contribute to long-term and short-term product strategy • Effectively communicate user research and discovery findings with content product managers, solution architects, and process experts. • Continually demonstrate behaviors that support BMS values: Integrity, Innovation, Urgency, Accountability, Passion, Inclusion • Ability to work with integrated teams such as marketers, brand leads, medical leads, and MLR leads to bring their user insights into actionable plans for technology teams to implement. • Ability to communicate effectively to broader teams across business domains and functions • Influence stakeholders across organizations to gain support for designs strategies • Lead the development of innovate design solutions to user, product, and business problems • Own a holistic design process, design system, or design language across teams or products • Own improvements in design based UX testing and stakeholder input and provide guidance and expertise to effectively engage stakeholders on product design to archive product goals • Conduct user research and analysis to understand user needs, pain points, preferences, and incorporate insights into the product. Experience and Qualifications: • Master's degree in a relevant field. • Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry. • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance related to digital content. • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web technologies. • Experience with prototyping tools and techniques. • 6+ years of UX experience, hands on experience in design thinking: user research, synthesis, and concepting across experience elements • Track record bringing digital products to life and delivering complex design projects • Strong expertise in user research and content creation • Mastery of design principles, research methodologies, design processes, experience design foundations, and digital best practices • Strong visual design sense, command over typography, interaction design and usability • Exposure to various UX research methods (quantitative, qualitative, usability studies, contextual inquiry, user surveys, etc.) • Developing wireframes, prototypes, and task flows based on product and user needs • Understanding product requirements to optimize UX and design • Collaborating with designers, developers, and researchers, synthesizing feedback, and input from key stakeholders • Defining and modifying the right interaction models based on evolutions to product and user needs • Communicating design recommendations and prototypes cross-functionally, including to leadership • Expert-level knowledge of design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and InDesign • Proficiency annotating designs, including for digital accessibility (preferred) • Understanding of digital accessibility best practices and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards (preferred) • Experience with agile ways of working and incremental enhancements • Experience incorporating generative AI into UX (preferred) • Responds well to direction, embraces feedback, and champions change • Displays a dependable, strong work ethic If you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn't perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
