Broker Channel Sales Lead

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Broker Channel Sales Lead who will own establishing business with new brokers while growing sales within current broker firms. You will develop an intimate knowledge of the broker firms and broker books of business to leverage Decent capabilities to maximize revenue growth. This role has the potential to grown into the department leader who will grow the department.


What you'll do:

  • Effectively market to agents/brokers and encourage them to place their clients’ business with Decent
  • Utilize internal systems (Salesforce, Zoom, etc.) for activity tracking and metrics.
  • Develop new broker relationships
  • Recruit, educate and train brokers on carrier administrative procedures, product availability, and the value each brings to the customer.
  • Work with agents/brokers to develop revenue growth strategies focused on increased sales activity, increased products per customer, and expanded understanding of Decent’s specialized services.
  • Work effectively in a team sales environment and coordinate all sales and retention activity as needed to assure the fastest, easiest, and most trusted benefits selling experience.



Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a health insurance sales role.
  • In-depth knowledge of group health insurance products preferably attained through working within a brokers lead generation model
  • Working in Salesforce
  • Be a team player and self-starter that can utilize organizational resources throughout the sales and marketing team to get the resources you need to be more successful
