Engineering Manager, Core Platform

Bubble is looking for an Engineering Manager in the Platform division to redesign and deliver the runtime systems that execute all fullstack Bubble applications. The ideal candidate has experience building complex distributed systems and managing enormous external load for end users directly with low latency and high reliability.

Skills

Experience with building complex distributed systems
Experience with scaling systems leveraging various technologies
Strong communication and leadership skills
Understanding of cloud native technologies

Responsibilities

Lead, uplevel, and promote a diverse team of engineers
Work closely with product managers, engineering managers, and leadership to develop next-gen distributed systems and software designs
Address and resolve complex scaling issues
Drive technical innovation and risk management
Communicate effectively and help build an engineering culture of shared success

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
