Our client is a US-based, venture backed high growth tech company that is launching a new office in Mexico City. They are looking for a fantastic HR team member to help lead all aspects of HR for this office.
The HR & Administrative Strategist is responsible for leading all aspects of human resources and office administration for a software company in Mexico City. This role serves as a strategic partner, providing HR expertise and support to drive organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
Additionally, this position manages the day-to-day operations of the branch office, ensuring a professional and well-organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Human resources management:
Implement local HR policies and programs that support the branch's business objectives
Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and separation
Serve as a trusted advisor and executer on complex local employee relations issues
In charge of the administration of benefits, payroll, and other HR-related processes
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations
Be the point of contact for local HR-related vendors to make sure all the processes are smooth Office Administration:
Manage the branch's office operations, including procurement of supplies and equipment, vendor relationships, and facilities maintenance
Act as the main point of contact for general inquiries, providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a professional and organized work environment
Support special projects and events as needed to contribute to the overall success of the branch
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in a combined HR and administrative role, preferably in a multi-site or decentralized organization with US headquarters
Open to work on-site in Mexico City
Demonstrate a hungry and proactive attitude, and willingness to accept new challenges
Strong understanding of HR best practices, local employment laws, and regulatory compliance
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, English proficiency
Proficient in the use of HR information systems and standard office software
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Demonstrated experience in project management and process improvement
