All about the role

As our Business Analyst, you will deliver vital insights to support our growing Scoober NL delivery operations. You will explore what drives our operations and find ways to build more value for our customers and partners.

You work on continuous analysis of the business such as development and growth, courier retention and performance, city deep dives, payment structure of our couriers, and much more. Also, in our business, planning and forecasting is crucial. With an accurate demand forecast, the right number of people can be hired, enough bikes and bags can be ordered and of course, the schedules of our couriers can be crafted. As a Business Analyst, you work side by side with the Forecasting and Planning team and support them on analyses to make the best decisions for our operation. Engaging with the City Operations Managers, the planning team, recruitment, and the global teams, you are the spider in the web. This position sits in our Dutch Scoober structure in Amsterdam, which supports the operation in the whole country. Your daily work includes:

• Analysing critical metrics and report it to the management team as well as keeping a close eye on the daily business and adjusting accordingly
• Establishing and managing relationships with different stakeholders in the organisation
• Spotting trends in the developments and shifting the business based on this information
• Offering advice on a strategic level to partners within the business
• Participating and taking the lead in new projects related to both the growth of the business as well as process improvements
• Conducting field as well as desk research
• Last-mile delivery is only the beginning of further optimising processes, using data and technology. The ideal moment to jump on board!

• Advanced MS Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Excellent analytical skills and numerical reasoning
• Organisational understanding: Ability to connect data with real live operations
• Forward-thinking and independent way of working
• Curiosity about different markets and cultures
• Proficiency in English
