As a Business Development and Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to generate new business and increase revenue by selling our Data Management as a Service (DMaaS) solutions to energy companies. You will be responsible for creating and executing a sales strategy, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, and building relationships with key decision-makers in the energy sector.
Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets for DMaaS solutions for energy data.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cold calling, networking, and leveraging existing relationships.

Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the energy sector, including executives, technical personnel, and procurement professionals.

Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers to explain the benefits and features of our DMaaS solutions for energy data.

Negotiate and close sales contracts with new and existing customers, including pricing and service level agreements.

Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop sales collateral, proposals, and case studies to support sales efforts.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to the executive team.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development and sales, preferably in the energy sector, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong knowledge of data management solutions and the energy industry, including seismic, well, wind, and solar data.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including executives, technical personnel, and procurement professionals.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self-starter with a can-do attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
