Job Description:

We’re actively seeking a talented Business Development/Internal Wholesaler to join our Life Insurance Team in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE.
As a Business Development/Internal Wholesaler, you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by:
Driving demand generation and developing sales pipeline
Working closely with External Wholesaler and Key Account Marketing to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies
Identifying potential new Financial Professionals using resources including, but not limited to: Key Account Lists, Marketing Campaign Leads, social media, referrals, Lack of Production lists, etc.
Proactively calling on Financial Professionals to provide information on the Company story, product/concept knowledge, and competition
Following up on all inbound inquiries from the website, events and partner registrations, as well as managing and executing outbound campaigns (email, LinkedIn, etc.) against targeted financial professionals
Exhibiting & maintaining a strong fundamental knowledge of PL Solutions & current economic & market conditions
Meeting or exceeding established Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with field and Home Office staff
Entering required information into PL's CRM (meeting notes, complete meetings, producer information) in a timely manner
Leveraging Field Staff and Home Office resources

Team-oriented/relationship builder
Highly engaged & enthusiastic
1-2 years relevant financial services experience
Requires Series 6 and 63 (must obtained within 90 days of hire)
BA/BS desired, emphasis on finance or business preferred
Compensation:
The base pay range is between $70,000- $80,000. In addition, this role is eligible for incentives based on production. The total target annualized compensation (base plus incentives) is $96,000-$112,000.

Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted provides a basis to determine the appropriate offer dependent upon several factors including but not limited to geographic location, experience, skills, education and pay equity. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
