Axis’ Business Development, Solutions & Services team is seeking a Business Development Manager, Solutions Acceleration to join our growing team in the Americas.
In this role, you’ll join a team responsible for generating awareness, demand and growth for Axis’ software & NVR solutions, as well as audio, intercoms, & access control. You will develop strategic business plans and identify opportunities to advance each product portfolio to set up future success.
Responsibilities
With team, build & execute concise and focused strategies, plans & goals for each of Axis’ key target groups in alignment with company go-to-market strategy
Develop, maintain and grow customer & partner relationships to support sales, drive opportunities, and provide feedback to increase the value of our offering
Work with cross-functional teams to increase awareness of and reduce or remove perceived hurdles for developing business for our solutions
Gather and provide regional market feedback to spot trends, ensure successful launches, and help shape future product roadmaps across all four focus technologies
Serve as internal resource for technology areas by supporting new initiatives and helping drive long-term business development goals
Provide monthly reporting on strategic initiatives, progress, and opportunities to management
Identify new markets and innovative solutions in order to drive additional sales opportunities
Essential Skills
Experience in the physical security market; preferred knowledge of products and future trends in product categories such as VMS, server, software, intercom, audio, or access control solutions
Resiliency, a driver of change, and flexibility
Strong cross-functional coordination skills with ability to build & execute plans
Proven ability to build strategic and trusted relationships at all levels internally and externally
Track record of ensuring knowledge is spread to salesforce and channel on how to position and win business
Technical aptitude
Exceptional communication, public speaking, presentation, training and listening skills
Consistent in follow up and execution
Education and experience
Bachelors’ Degree required
5+ years in sales, business development, account or program management ideally in the video and physical security markets
Bonus points for experience working within a channel sales model
Based in our Chelmsford, MA office preferred
