Business Development Representative

A Business Development Representative (BDR) is required to assist with lead generation for the Global Sales team to help build a robust sales pipeline. Working within the sales organization, this individual will work closely alongside Marketing to progress engaged prospects by generating introductory calls for regional AEs, which ultimately convert to opportunities. Leveraging their existing skills, the BDR will optimize our tech stack (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to identify key prospects in target accounts for cadence outreach (via SalesLoft) to create Discovery Calls.

Success in this role will be based on the individual’s skills in effective prospecting, persuasive email communications and rigid discipline in timely and continuous outreach. As a key contributor to the Sales Team, the BDR will be tasked and judged based on the following metrics:


  • Number of meetings scheduled
  • Number of opportunities created
  • Outreach volumes: Emails/Calls

Responsibilities:


  • Progress Marketing-generated leads in a timely manner, leveraging appropriate content and video media to move prospects to a sales discussion
  • Prospecting outreach via email/phone/LinkedIn
  • Cadence development for multi-touch engagement of prospects
  • Event support to include pre- (drive onsite traffic/engagement) and post-attendance follow-up (lead nurturing)
  • ABM programs for sales partners to assist with sourcing target accounts and members of the decision-making units, plus generating contact lists for outreach
  • Contribute to event research/recommendations
  • Being a brand evangelist by sharing Ayasdi content to our target audience and industry influencers

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years outbound prospecting experience
  • Proficiency with sales tech stack (Salesforce, Outreach, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo or similar)
  • Strong writing skills for cadence development
  • Methodical and proactive approach to deliver specified metrics and achieve quota
  • Excellent communicator
  • A team-player, multi-tasker and driven individual who thrives on minimal direction
