Business Development Coordinator
The Business Development Associate (BDC) is a cross-functional administrative role within Business Development and Client Service Delivery/ Onboarding teams. The BDC will play a key role in ensuring that new clients are effectively and efficiently carried through the pipeline and have a successful start with Propeller Industries.
Responsibilities:
- Support the BD team on intro calls, inbound leads and lead qualification, including:
- Schedule meetings with potential new clients and log information in appropriate databases during calls
- Ensure all relevant documentation/data is received and properly saved
- Become proficient in our CRM (we use Hubspot!) and support Propeller leaders on the proper use and tracking of, leads, contacts, deals, etc.
- Ensure the validity, consistency and completeness of data in our CRM system
- Maintain organization of proposal development tool: template upkeep/updates, and deploying documents as needed
- Work with BD team to improve tools and systems company wide to create efficiencies in the lead to client process
- Work with BD team to support pipeline movement and the proposal process by facilitating the review process with key stakeholders
- Support in managing communication with prospective clients as they move through the pipeline and proposal process
- Support on additional projects to improve the BD and Sales processes including developing and maintaining internal process documents and best practices training materials
- Maintain organization of key marketing materials and collateral
- Assist BD team in tracking of KPIs related to client growth and pipeline movement
- Assist with events, trade shows, and networking events as needed, including maintaining key contact lists, supporting coordination efforts, and logistics
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience in a sales and/or operational environment
- Experience with and understanding of the startup ecosystem a must
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Highly detailed and organized
- Flexible & able to adapt to shifting priorities
- Excellent time-management skills
- Good team player, with ability to work independently
- Positive, energetic, approachable, curious
- Prior accounting & finance knowledge a plus
- Hubspot experience a plus
