ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:• Conducts assigned game according to procedure.• Exchanges cash for gaming chips according to procedure.• Informs the Floorperson of any requests or unusual play.• Issues to guests the proper amount of gaming chips after completion of the credit authorization procedures.• Acknowledges, greets and converses with all guests, offering assistance and information to anyone showing an interest in table game play.• Routinely strives to build and maintain a rapport with table games guests.• Acts as a role model and presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same.• Adhere to all department/company policies and procedures.• Completes all other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS:• Must have dealing experience in Roulette and/or Craps.• Must be 21 years of age or older.• High School Diploma or equivalent required.• Must have broad knowledge of casino rules, regulations, and procedures, including good gaming security.• Previous guest service experience preferred.• Strong guest service orientation, able to handle monetary transactions with a high degree of accuracy.• Manual dexterity to handle numerous decks of cards and chips.• Able to add, multiply, divide, and subtract accurately to figure payoffs.• Ability to handle multiple tasks.JOB DEMANDS:• Lifts up to a maximum of 20 pounds and frequently lifts and/or carries objects weighing up to 10 pounds.• Position requires 70% standing, 10% sitting, 20% walking.• Requires some kneeling, stooping and reaching overhead; frequent climbing and very frequent bending, pushing and twisting.• Position requires manual dexterity to deal and collect cards and chips.• Must be able to work in a fast paced, stressful environment.• Must be able to work in areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.• Must be able to respond to speech, touch, smell, aural and visual cues.DisclaimerThis is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, efforts or working conditions associated with the job.
