This position is full-time, remote, and a contract that renews on a semi-annual basis.What You’ll Do• Work alongside diverse teams to gather user requirements, understand project objectives, and align with business goals• Develop user interface designs for web applications that support the food and beverage staff and our food waste reduction efforts• Produce wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes for clear communication of design ideas• Carry out user research and usability testing, incorporating feedback to refine the designs• Uphold consistent brand and visual design standards throughout all applications• Guide and assist the development team through the implementation process• Stay informed about UI/UX industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our offeringsWhat You’ll NeedRequired:• Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, or relevant field• 4+ years of UI/UX design experience, with a preference for those who have held mid to senior-level positions• Skilled in using design and prototyping software like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD• Agile development process experience and proficiency with project management tools such as Jira• Strong portfolio that demonstrates a variety of UI/UX design work, specifically in web applications• Exceptional communication and team collaboration abilities• Creative problem-solving skills with a user-centric design philosophyPreferred:• Knowledge of the food and beverage industry or related experience is beneficialPhysical Demands:• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorReasonable Accommodation StatementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 – 8111.Equal Employment Opportunity Policy StatementIt is the policy of CAI not to discriminate against any employee or applicant due to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability or being a protected veteran.
